Best cleanse diet for weight loss?

I want to do one of those cleanse diets just for 1-3 days to get the ball rolling. Usually once I just get that first 2-5 pounds off I can really start eating like I should normally. Anyway I don't know what to try. Please share. Any advice on cleanse diets would help.Best cleanse diet for weight loss?
Two things: 1- the lemonade diet, should be online. Drinking only water with lemon, cayenne pepper and a little bit of natural maple syrup. Seemed to work for Howard Stern's sidekick and Jared Leto. It's a one to two week cleanse but you could go as long as you need to, even a couple days. Ease back into a normal diet slowly.

2- Give up sugars, meats, etc and go all natural and perhaps even all raw. Drink lots of water and perhaps some hot teas. This will help cleanse too. Again, for as long as you want, even 2-5 days would help. Ease back into a normal diet slowly. You don't need to buy an expensive program to cleanse.Best cleanse diet for weight loss?
Cleansing is nonsense.

Get exercise and you get all the fat burning and weight loss you need.
Have to agree with ';fitty'; (above) on that one. ';Cleansing'; isn't a diet, it's a very short-term measure that will usually do more harm than good. Eat vegetables and lean meats, cut back on sugars and starches, and get plenty of exercise, and you'll see the weight melt away much faster (and more permanently) than any 'cleansing' regime can offer.
The two week kick off for Southbeach Diet is a good starting place It cuts back on sugars mostly, and help cleanse your system of its craving for sugars.

It will probably take only about 5 days to get over the cravings, but do the full two weeks.

I need to start a diet as well. I think I will start Southbeach myself after my next trip to the grocer's, I need to stock up on the essentials.

From South Beach Site:

Phase 1: Kick-Starting Your Weight Loss Back to Top

You'll stay on Phase 1 for two weeks, kick-starting your weight loss while learning what foods to enjoy and what foods to avoid.

What you'll eat: You won't go hungry 鈥?the plan involves eating three balanced meals along with snacks. The snacks, in fact, are mandatory, even if you're not hungry. The reason? They can help keep you more satisfied, so you're less likely to overeat at your next meal. During Phase 1, you'll eat foods such as lean meats, chicken, turkey, fish, and shellfish (vegetarians can enjoy meat substitutes and tofu), along with eggs, reduced-fat cheese, nuts, beans, and plenty of vegetables.

What you won't eat: No bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, or baked goods. Not even fruit. Before you panic: You'll begin adding those things back into your diet in two weeks. But for right now, they're to be avoided. No candy, cake, cookies, ice cream, or sugar for two weeks, either. No beer or alcohol of any kind. After this Phase, you'll be free to drink wine, which is beneficial for a variety of reasons.
You can drink juices, soups and eat salads for about three days comfortably but after that you should eat a balanced diet. You will lose weight if you dont over eat.You should not lose over a pound or two a week. If you do lose more it will be much harder to keep it off.
