Is 'political correctness' just as bad as ethnic cleansing?

Is the 'political correctness' just as dangerous as ethnic cleansing itself? Ethnic cleansing based upon the eugenics movement of the 1920s was the platform for German naziism but it is not generally realised that Hitler was also a proponent of that evil ideology called political correctness. His polcor, like present day polcor, sought to twist and control people's minds.

Quite frankly, political correctness is the modern day Salem Witch Trials and McCarthyism.Is 'political correctness' just as bad as ethnic cleansing?
I believe political correctness has resulted in 'reverse racism' to the detriment of the indigenous population and is responsible for much dissatisfaction and resentment today.
Dont be wet, nobody gets gassed by not bieng allowed to say the N word.. its hardly twisting peoples minds to have to be respectful of their disabilities or race, I am old enough to remember when black people were called sambo, and anyone with learning difficulties was retarded, let me tell you not to be ';normal'; back then must have been a hellride, some say its gone too far, maybe it has, but its better than allowing people to bully and harrass others just because they are different, either every life is sacred, or none are, tolerance is the mark of a civilised society, and if political correctness is a pain, then so be it, like I say its better than the alternative.
You can't get rid of political correctness while retaining free speech.
sadly though, this changes with times. Years ago, you could not see a black person and white person in the movies or on TV 'dating' - that was so unheard of! (despite 1st Amendment rights to free speach). Then there was the gay-bashing (no gays in military for example). These situations change with times and become 'politically acceptable'...

Where the bloody devil did you get such a ridiculous idea. If anything, it help prevent Ethnic Cleansing by making sure some rectangular mustang man does spill his hate to the people, and launcing progoms or attacking minorities.

No, political correctness is a cure to the poisonous racist speech and ethnic hatred that causes ethnic cleansing.
Politcal Correctness should be abolished as it is taking away our Freedoms that many people have fought and died for over the years. If anything it is worse than Ethnic Cleansing as it will lead to civil war and riots, if something isnt done.
No it is not. PC is merely a way of attempting to eliminate negative personal stereotyping from everyday discourse. Ethnic cleansing is an attempt to force ethnic groups or entire populations to evacuate an area by the use of mass killing, terrorisation and random violence. It's only one step away from genocide.

Who or what hosts the war arena is immaterial, as long as big bucks are made. War policy is influenced by the rationale of economic policy and who better to exert their influence on the economic front than the big industrialists who claim to be the great wealth makers of nations? PC just causes racism vs the majority (companies turning down white people who have proper qualifications to hire ';ethnic minorities'; so they can fill in ';equal treatment'; forms, etc), most of the people who support it are 35+ year olds who dont realise the country is going to hell because of mass immigration
Liberals have ridden the ';political correctness'; bandwagon, but one ironic result has been various kinds of censorship. Liberals in general have stifled free speech. I would love to see free speech returned to the masses. One way to control people is to control the language they use. Libertarians and Conservatives routinely push for open discourse. Even if I don't agree with what you say, you still have the right to be heard.
