Has anyone had their colon cleansed, does it hurt, does it help and how do I go about doing it?

You know what, there is this misconception that when 'colon cleanse' is mentioned, people immediately associate it with an enema.

There are many ways to cleanse your colon.

You don't have to have an enema if you want to cleanse your colon.

You can do some cleansing by drinking aloe vera gel.

Today, people like you and me are continually exposed to food which are heavily loaded with preservatives and contaminated with pesticides and fungicides.

Nutrients are absorbed by your body through hair-like particles called villi which line the walls of your small intestines.

Gradually, toxins accumulate around the inside walls of your small intestines.

When this happens, the nutrients do not get fully absorbed into your system because the toxins already clogged the villi.

Aloe vera gel 'sweeps away' these toxins and make the villi function properly. In effect, your colon gets cleansed.

Quack alert!

That ';colon cleansing'; crap (if you pardon the pun) is pure BS, lol.

It does nothing for you at all. I mean, think real hard. If God wanted you to have a great big enema, he would have made enemas grow wild in the forest. Did you see mother nature giving Bambi a great big enema? No, you did not.

This is phony and it is only a way for someone to make a quick buck.

Eat fiber, drink water, exercise, and you are fine.Has anyone had their colon cleansed, does it hurt, does it help and how do I go about doing it?
Its a big time enema and doesn't do anything good for your health, just fills their pocket book, If you want to detox your body, eat only veggies and fruits for 3 or 4 days.
try cleansing yourself naturally

maybe try fasting, or eating only certain types of vegetables, etc

ask your doctor about more natural cleansing methods
