You can use vinegar as a type of astringent. Clean your face first, with a mild facial soap. Dilute the vinegar with water (about 50% water, 50% vinegar). You can apply it to your face with a cotton ball. You can dilute the vinegar with more water if you have sensitive skin. You just allow the vinegar to dry on your face, you don't need to rinse it off.





Vinegar is a mild acid, so be careful when you first try it.


Try Apple Cider Vinegar (available in your local grocery store).

it might sting and make your face red at first or even after that, so dilute it....alot of people with acne-prone skin use apple cider vinegar to treat acne...and you can also drink it(cup of water with a few teaspoons of it)...let me tell you it tastes 100% disgusting but its healthy, for detoxing, acne, etc. It contains acids such as alpha hydroxy acids which chemically exfoliate your skin, so over time it brightens appearance and discolourations...oh and if you ever use this to cleanse your face make sure you use SPF afterwards as the acids that exfolaiet make your skin temporary sun-sensitive so if you go out in the sun you'd end up darker rather than brighter. Plain vinegar can be used but i suggest you use apple cider vinegar. remember dilute it %26amp; SPF.
actually meand my siter use it (mostly my sisyter) but we hot it upp in a bowl in the microwave before useing it then we use a cotton ball and put it on our face. But it didnt really work with us...maybe cause of our skin types but try it and see maybe it will work for you :)
Maybe when it's diluted with water...because straight vinegar sounds like it would burn. White vinegar would work as well as apple cider vinegar.
