What will happen if you had a miscarriage and did not cleanse the blood left in your ovary ,by a doctor?

Most of the time, nothing will happen.

If you have had a miscarriage, you should probably see a doctor.

Unfortunately, doctors generally do a D%26amp;C as standard procedure after a woman has miscarried to make sure all the tissue is removed from the uterus. A D%26amp;C, though, is a blind and extremely invasive procedure done with exceedingly sharp instruments. So, unless you have residual problems after miscarrying (like unusually intense bleeding, cramping, fever, etc.), I would tell the doctor no when he says he wants to do the procedure.

I had a friend (not me) who was told by a doctor that she had miscarried and the Dr. wanted to do the D%26amp;C. The friend said no because she didn't want anyone ';pokin' around in there.'; She went to a different Dr. weeks later and, lo and behold, she had not miscarried; her baby was still alive. Thank God she had not had the D%26amp;C, which would have killed her baby. Hers is a very unusal case, but it makes you think twice.

Usually all the ';stuff'; will naturally be expelled from the woman's body, but, if a woman does have an incomplete miscarriage, the leftover material in the uterus can cause infections, bleeding, cramping, and even death (basically the same issues as any woman who has an abortion where the dr. doesn't get everything out). What will happen if you had a miscarriage and did not cleanse the blood left in your ovary ,by a doctor?
you should definitely consult a doctor. If im not mistaken, when something like this happens you are suppose to get your uterus cleaned out from left over blood because, it could infect you and your life could be in danger. but definitely seek a doctor. What will happen if you had a miscarriage and did not cleanse the blood left in your ovary ,by a doctor?
I think you mean uterus.
You sound very confused about pregnancy and your anatomy. (There is no reason for blood to be in an ovary--that is just the place where the ovum--eggs--come from. I am v ery worried about someone with so little knowledge of their body engaging in sex and/or getting pregnant in the first place. You really need to talk to a doctor, nurse, or counselor--SOON!

Oh, and if you didn't have a d %26amp; c (the ';cleansing'; you speak of...), you could very possibly get very bad, even life-threatening,

infection. Please see a doctor; I will worry about you.
Was the doctor saying you need a D%26amp;C? This involves scraping the uterine lining and it removes anything that may be left over after the miscarriage (in case not everything is expelled from the uterus). If your doctor says you should, you probably should.
awww sweety ....how old are you.... i am thinking u need a d/c ...go see u doc as soon as u can ok!!! u need to talk ...contact me if u want k ....but please see a doc asap!!! take care sweety!!!!!
A d %26amp; c should be performed. The remaining residue left from the miscarriage would cause inflammation and possibly create a toxic infection in your blood system. This would make you very sick at the very mininum and could create much more serious issues for you and any future pregnancy that you would have. This could be transfered to the child during it's time in the uterus.

See your doctor and follow the recommendations.
