How can someones sin be cleansed by the blood of Christ?

How can someones sin be cleansed by the blood of Christ?

I just cant make sense of this. Was it something he said. Please bring me quote.How can someones sin be cleansed by the blood of Christ?
By Christ shedding His blood and dying on the Cross, He washed away the sins of those that believe in Him.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life.How can someones sin be cleansed by the blood of Christ?
For the soul of the flesh is in the blood,and i myself have put it upon the altar for you to make atonement for your souls,because it is the blood that makes atonement by the soul in it. (Leviticus 17:11)

yes nearly all things are cleansed with blood according to the law,and unless blood is poured out no forgiveness takes place.'; ( Hebrew 9:22)

dJehovah ,who saw that justice toward dying,sinful mankind could be turned into favor of mankind only by a sacrifice of sufficient value and power,was also loing enought o provide the needed sacrifice.He did this in his heavenly Son , His first and chief creation,whom He sent from heaven to earth to become a perfect man Jesus Christ. Jesus sacrifice can do what the first sacrifice by man Abel's sacrifice, could not do.it can give us deliverance from inherited sin and condemnation and from the resulting death and the grave.for this the holy bible points us to Jesus the mediator of new a covenant,and the blood of sprinkling which speaks in a better way than Abel's blood .( Hebrew 12:24) abels blood cried out to God from the ground of vengeance against the the murderous brother-hater ,cain. Jesus blood cries out from God 's altar for divine mercy upon men and women of faith and obedience. -- Genesis 4:10 , Hebrews 13:10-12
Have you ever wondered, what is the best detergent to use on your cloths?

And finally you have found one, why? Because it did a good job on your cloths, right?

You need to try the cleansing of the Blood of the Lord Jesus, by confessing that he is the Lord of the Lords, and his blood was shed on the cross to cleanse everyone who believes in him, and after that you will be able to feel the cleanse of him.

Another thing is if you look at any other people who truly believed in him you will be able to see a unique comfort between these righteous people, and remember that not every Christian is a real Christian, only he or she can be determined by their love to others.
Matthew 26:28

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (In this verse Christ was giving communion to the disciples.)

Acts 2:38

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Hebrews 10:17-20

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

In the Old Testament, they ';atoned'; for their sins using animal sacrifices. Those sacrifices were imperfect therefore the sins were only pushed back a year and not completely atoned or done away with. God could, if you will, see through the blood of the animals. He does not see our sins through the blood of Christ because He was the perfect sacrifice. His perfect blood washes us whiter than snow.
Christ bled and died on the cross for our sins, so that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven someday. Christ literally shed his blood for each of us and experienced every pain, every trial, and every temptation that we go through. In Isaiah chapter one you can read about it...';Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as snow, though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool';. We need to offer Christ a humble and willing heart, then he will make our sins pure again because of his atoning blood. i hope this helped. God bless you!
The law of God says that...

1) Without shedding of Blood there is no remission (forgiveness) for sins

2) All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God

To satisfy the justice of God, He would have to punish all humankind

But His mercy and love made Him send His Son so that whoever believes on Him shall not perish (die; can be physical but definitely spiritual), but have eternal life
He said that no one get to God but through him; he claimed to be the only way and it was his prophesized crucifixion in which he was to defeat death-- (the idea is that a perfectly sinless man died needlessly on the cross)

So now, the belief is that whoever accepts his sacrifice is saved-- they are offered a way out of death through Christ-- he is like the bridge towards building ourselves toward God
In the Old Testament, one needed to bring a lamb to the alter and slay it. When Jesus came He became the slained lamb of God. His blood was shed for our sins. His blood is a washing of our sins. In order to get dirt off the skin you need to use water and soap, in order to wash sin away you need the blood of Christ. The way you get the blood is by confessing your sins and asking Jesus to wash you with His precious blood.
In the old testament, the sacrifice and the shed blood pushed their sins forward and away from them. The penalty of sin is death. By one man, sin entered the world, by one man, the debt is paid. Only the blood of one sinless could make that payment in full. Jesus sacrificed himself for us so we could be reconciled to Him. He rose from the dead because He is life, and because of that resurrection, if we believe in Him and accept the fact that He paid fully our debt, we will rise with Him on the last day. Salvation through Jesus is achieved by nothing we can do, but all because of what Jesus did. He provides all we need for salvation, we only have to accept and believe.
Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Refrain

Are you washed in the blood,

In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb?

Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Are you walking daily by the Savior鈥檚 side?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Refrain

When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,

And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Refrain

Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,

And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;

There鈥檚 a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,

O be washed in the blood of the Lamb!

Refrain
the reason you are cleansed by the blood of Christ is because of our sin we had to offer blood sacrafices 1 John 1:7. ';...the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.'; We are made clean becasue we no longer have to make scarafices as they did in the old testement(before Jesus died on the cross) Because his blood is the ultimate sacrafice becasue he was sinless. Therefore we are cleansed.
this means that Jesus died because He loved you so much that he was willing to take all of your sin away and forgive you if you ask Him to. therefore, your sin is ';cleansed'; or ';taken upon Him'; if you admit that you have done wrong and ask for His forgiveness.
Matthew 26:28

';28

for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.';

His blood was shed, meaning he would be killed, to save our sins. This means that because of his death our sins are forgiven. He went into hell for three days after his death, rose on the third day for he had conquered death and he paid the price of our sins for us! If we are truely sorry we are forgiven of our sins because of Jesus' death.

That's why we are cleansed with his blood. Our souls are cleansed of sin by his blood being shed by his death.

best wishes,

katie

EDIT: sure! :)

John 12:44-50

';44

Jesus cried out and said, ';Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me,

45

and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.

46

I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.

47

And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world.

48

Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day,

49

because I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak.

50

And I know that his commandment is eternal life. So what I say, I say as the Father told me.';

';

EVERYONE who believes can be saved! said from the mouth of Jesus himself! He came for EVERYONE.

John 3:16-18

';16

For God so loved the world that he gave 7 his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.

17

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn 8 the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

18

Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.';

This doesn't say only SOME PEOPLE that believe in me can go to heaven. WHOEVER believes in him will not be condemned!

1John 5:1

';1

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten by God, and everyone who loves the father loves (also) the one begotten by him.';

which means that everyone that believes in Jesus Christ is one God's people and is saved!

Also: the Messiah was said to come from the line of David (don't worry I'm not ranting this is relavent). But David's line is full of Gentile women such as Ruth (a Gentile is someone who is not a Jew). Jesus did come from the line of David and this shows that even Jesus' family was full of non-Jews, he came for EVERYONE.

does that help?
Most definitely!!!1

You must hear the word of God

Let it into your Heat and

Accept it with your mouth

Jesus came to save us all. It was his blood that paid for our sins. Imagine someone paying off all your bills....and leaving you debt free...would you like to get to know what person?

Jesus paid off you sin debt!

Everylasting life awaits those who know him.

God Bless you in your journey to know him, accept him and walk with him.....I try to be better and do so but Satan tries to foil me......
Don't try to, you don't see people trying to understand why a baby was in a cradle on top of a tree in that nursery rhyme do you now?
By having faith in your heart and confessing to the lord that you believe that he is God...whomm died on the cross for you and have lived and is living right now!!!
it dosnt mean litterally 'showering' in his blood: here hope this helps-contact me if you still have questions

You can only be forgiven by the person you've wronged, and then by yourself.

Sounds gory
because christ was jesus and he died for us! so our sins have been cleansed and washed away!
as a Christians we don't know how...its Gods law...just like scientist don't know how all the laws of nature came to be...
christianity is based on vampires, zombies, and cannibalism
