Do I want an 'cleansing ion shower' in an air cleanser for my home?

I know this is a house question but I'd like a scientific opinion or two.


I have no idea what I should have in an air cleaner. I want something that will filter out mold spores, dust mites and so on but I thought a HEPA filter was enough. What's this ion storm cleansing thing?!
