Is colon cleansing a good or bad thing? and are some of the products a scam?

It is a good thing, there are many bacteri that lives in our (even) cooked foods. Like pork, so when you get your colon cleansed you are riding your body of some of the bacteri, poisonous gases, and do not forget the waste that your colon is holding.Is colon cleansing a good or bad thing? and are some of the products a scam?
i think its a scam myself-if you drink plenty of water and eat fiber that should be healthy in itself.Is colon cleansing a good or bad thing? and are some of the products a scam?
I's a good thing. I bowel detox 4 times a year. You feel amazing when your done. More energy, lose a few pounds of old fecal matter, etc.
I don't know, but fiber mixes make anything you drink taste like crap. Just eat some beans or somethin...
If you don't clean ur colon then u will get colon cancer so i say clean that colon with a nice fleet and let the fleet have it's way lol seriously though
Colon cleansing is NOT a scam. Some people have such bad diets (especially in the US) they develop a mucus lining on their colons that forces their their bodies absorb toxins in the worst cases, but also slow down water absorption in less severe cases.





You can decide how severe you think your condition is based on your current diet and the way you have eaten throughout your life.





There are 3 major colon cleansing routes:





1. Pills (heavy fiber systems)


2. Strict diet change


3. Enemas





Decide how severe your condition is. If you are always suffering from diarrhea or constipation you may need to clean your colon. These conditions are also caused by other problems, but it could be your colon.





It is true that some colon cleansers are produced by companies that over market and over advertise and under deliver on their promises, so you should do more research, but in the most part companies are honest about what they sell.

The advertising for colon cleansing is another way to seperate you from your hard earned cash. How do you really measure its effectivness. Save your money and see it for what it is, a scam !!
The cleansing is a good thing, go through your doctor or a reputable company though, as theres always a scam out there for everything
its a good thing because it gets out all of that stuff out of your body that is causing you to feel tried and never having energy

It can be useful to get rid of some parasites but thats about it.


(If you live in North America, parasites really shouldn't be a concern for you).


Problem with colon cleansing is that it can get rid of beneficial bacteria down there that can lead to other, nastier bacteria setting up base in your colon.
People say different things, but all the doctors I have spoken to have said no. The reason people get colon cancer is because of genetics or an unhealthy fatty diet. If you are eating healthy your body will regulate itself. Colon cleansing is only necessary for surgery basically. The reason it exists in the medical world is so clear the area when doing colonoscopy. The colon is basically a straw connected to the outside world, and has nothing to do w/ your stomach or anything like that really so it wouldn't help w/ weight loss or to prevent you from getting cancer. It is a waste of money for those reasons. You only need it if a doctor recommends it. Honestly!
Cleaning your colon is vary important. Eating a small amount of mixed roughage will clean the colon and you won't notice it. Put it on all your meals each time (one tea spoon) and that will work..

Which colon cleansing are you talking about? There are 2 different kinds, the ones where you drink stuff and the kind where they shoot stuff up through your bowels.





I have no personal experience with the second kind of cleansing but my husband and I both did The Master Cleanse and it really worked for both of us. It sounds really quacky but it did work wonders. But see we didn't have to buy anything from anybody, you can buy stuff on-line but with this cleanse you can buy the ingredients locally. Other cleanses where you have to buy something on-line I would be a bit suspicious of doing.
They found 40+ pounds of fecal matter in Elvis when he died. He certainly could have used one.
In todays medical world it is widely acknowledged that a lot of illnesses are related to the colon or more to the not properly working colon.


Colon cleansing can be a good thing if you need it, depending on you diet, lifestyle and believe.


Unfortunatley a lot of people overdo it and like with everything else it is to find what works for you.


There are many different products out there, most of them do what they say: flush your colon out. But as we are all different not all products will work for everybody.


You should be weary of cheap products. Many can be habbit forming if you take them for extended periods, specially if they contain cascarra or senna.
